About the Ethiopia Specialists
We are a group of local Destination Management Companies, who met each other at the start of the Export Promotion training (Expro) in 2019 – organized by the Centre for Promotion of Imports from developing countries (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands). Being part of this program, it became clear to us that collaboration, joint marketing and promotion activities would be more beneficiary to all – using the collective strengths of these specialists.
We gained more insight in the diversity of the EU markets, clients and trends. Became Travelife Partner, or even Certified accredited. How to organize ourselves better. And learned how Digitalisation can help us forward…
By exchanging ideas, brainstorms and through group sessions we developed new concepts; resulting in joint activities and products.
Working together brings us not only more efficient use of Mini busses, vehicles and guides, but also more buying power in contracting accommodations.
Each of us has developed his own business model (Export Marketing Plan) with unique features. As a group we organize (virtual) Road Shows, webinars, a Promotion Portal and Trade Fair attendance.
